Mission

To provide a safe space for Black and Brown people to explore the issues and public policy facing our people in the state of Louisiana, and to develop solutions together.


PROGRAM OVERVIEW

LEAD LA is a leadership development and community

education program targeted at promising professionals in Louisiana. Through personal and professional development

and broad exposure to the community, LEAD LA aims to encourage further leadership in Black and Brown persons throughout the state. This program will present thought-provoking

lectures and symposiums which will motivate our participants to lead the change so desperately needed in our communities, in the state, and in the world. Our participants will be exposed to a variety

of excellent businesses, restaurants, museums, hotels, etc., with the goal of encouraging economic support in our communities. It can be done! This program is distinguished by its unique integration of personal, professional, and community education. The excellent faculty, speakers, and presenters are of the highest quality and leaders in their own right. Their examples will be truly inspiring. LEAD LA's class is not to be missed! Classes start in September 2024 and continue monthly until April 2025.
